About Us

SwissTravelGuide has been an independent travel agency in Switzerland since 2008. With a team of 16 tourguides we take foreign guests to the most beautiful and best-known destinations in Switzerland. Our tourguides know the easiest ways, the best places and the necessary information about the destination so that you can get away from the tourist crowds.

Since Switzerland has one of the world's best public transport systems and is considered the most reliable means of transport, our guests travel by public transport. You can see more during your journey than in a car, you can move around on the train, there are sanitary facilities and there is an on-board restaurant on the long distance trains. This way of traveling is our  contribution to the environment and the global climate.

Our private tours offer an exclusive service because you travel alone with the tour guide. We organize the trip, the tour guide takes you to the right place the entire time and you can relax and enjoy the trip without any worries. The private tours offer space for individual wishes and customized travel plans.

For guests with a smaller travel budget, we offer small group tours. On these tours you travel together with other guests and the tour guide leads you to the chosen destination and back according to a fixed schedule. So that you can still enjoy personal service, our small group tours are limited to a maximum of 12, in exceptional cases 14 guests.

We offer self-guided tours for guests who would like to explore the destinations independently and on their own. We will deliver the necessary travel documents and tickets to the hotel so you can travel as you wish. All information about the route, traveling by train and the destination is summarized in the manual for your trip. If you want to travel by car, we will give you the necessary coordinates for your trip.

Individual trips or trips for groups are possible on request.
